We are pleased to announce Nourishing the Future, a privately funded organization, has chosen to sponsor partial academic scholarships to eligible graduating high school students who regularly volunteer at the Pantry.
The scholarships will recognize graduating high school students who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to community service through volunteering at the Pantry. Awards support students pursuing any accredited degree, certificate, trade/apprenticeship program, or active military service.
Nourishing the Future believes students who give back can shape a better future - for themselves and for their communities. Nourishing the Future supports young people who serve others and want to keep making a difference as they take their next steps.
To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
Complete a minimum of 45 volunteer hours at the Pantry between 2024 and 2026,
Be a current high school senior or GED recipient,
Plan to enroll in an accredited college, university, certificate program, trade/apprenticeship program, or enter active military duty.
An online application is available here. Applicants must also have their hours verified by a Team Leader of the Pantry by completing this form.
Scholarship awards will vary and may be applied toward tuition, fees, books, tools, or required supplies. Applications will be accepted between February 1, 2026 and March 31, 2026.
