This year’s Mansfield Elementary School Association (MESA) Food Drive to support the Pantry was truly something special.
Each and every can, box, and bag donated are more and more meaningful as the cost of living continues to rise and social service supports decrease. It’s amazing to see how, when we come together, small acts of kindness can add up to something so impactful.
A huge thank-you to everyone who donated - kindergartners through the 5th graders and their families - whether they brought in a single item or a full grocery bag, it all made a difference. We are grateful for the wonderful teachers and staff of our school district who helped spread the word, sent out reminders, and brought in donations themselves. And of course, a special shout-out to the many volunteers who donated their time and efforts to making this annual food drive such a success.

The amazing food totals are listed below - to note this is MESA's 2nd largest collection ever! Thank you, thank you!!
Robinson: 1,527 pounds
Jordan/Jackson: 2,882 pounds
Total donated: 4,409 pounds!

“Great to see the community coming together for such a meaningful cause. Food drives like this make a real difference for families in need and show the power of collective support. While exploring online communities, I also came across Pelotalibre.cam (https://pelotalibre.cam/) which offers interesting content as well. Keep up the great work!”
It’s amazing to see how community initiatives like the MESA annual food drive can make such a big impact. Local schools, families, and volunteers working together were able to collect over 4,100 pounds of food for the Mansfield Food Pantry, showing how small contributions from many people can add up to something truly meaningful for neighbors in need.
Efforts like this really highlight the power of community support and generosity. While reading stories about positive community initiatives online, I also enjoy exploring different websites and resources. One site I recently came across is yo whatsapp heymods (https://heymods.com.co/), which shares useful information and tools related to mobile apps and messaging customization.
Texans who qualify can use the YourTexasBenefits website to apply for SNAP food benefits, Medicaid or CHIP health insurance, and TANF cash assistance. The portal helps families keep their applications, paperwork, and benefit renewals safe.
