A nationwide movement
Hunger Action Month was created in 2007 by Feeding America, a nationwide organization committed to providing necessary resources to food banks across the country. This yearly month of awareness brings people across the country together to end hunger in our communities. Feeding America partners with local food banks including Greater Boston Food Bank to build a nation where everyone has the food and support they need. As a proud member agency of GBFB, we partner with them and our community to make ending hunger possible.
How can you participate?
You have a choice. Choose to end hunger by donating, fundraising, volunteering, learning
about hunger in our community, or advocating for food assistance. Tell your Representative and Senator that hunger relief needs to prioritized and post about anti-hunger policy issues.
It takes many hands—including yours—to ensure every person facing hunger gets the food they need. Wherever you are, you can do your part this Hunger Action Month.
