Food & Monetary Donations

Monetary Donations

Cash donations are always needed, as most of our food is purchased. Monetary donations may be made online through PayPal or send checks payable to Our Daily Bread Food Pantry.

Mail checks to: Our Daily Bread, 15A West Street, Mansfield, MA 02048.

Our Daily Bread dedication cards are a wonderful way to thank a teacher or coach or honor a friend or family member or remember a loved one. You will be asked to provide the necessary information after making your donation online, and the recipient will receive an acknowledgement in the mail.

Food Donations

Most of the food on Our Daily Bread's shelves is purchased from the Greater Boston Food Bank. In addition, volunteers shop at local grocery stores utilizing sales to purchase additional needed food staples. The pantry gratefully accepts donations of non-perishable, not yet expired, food items such as:

  • Canned fruits (preferably packed in juice) and fruit juices
  • Canned vegetables and canned tomatoes and spaghetti sauce
  • Canned meats such as tuna (packed in water), chicken, salmon
  • Canned proteins such as beef stews, chili and baked beans
  • Canned pastas such as spaghettios and dry pastas (such as penne, rigatoni, spaghetti)
  • Cereals and crackers
  • Canned soups (heartier soups with meats and vegetables are preferred)

Donations may be dropped off at the pantry on Saturday afternoons from 3-4pm. Food donations may also be left in any of the pantry's collection bins located at sites in Mansfield:
